TRANSCENDENCE: The Spiritual Emergence Showcase will highlight live music, poetry, and visual art that was inspired by the process of spiritual emergence. Artists will be showcased live at this event as well as in our forthcoming multi-media virtual gallery. A future visual art NYC installation is also in the works!
We will screen the #Emerging Proud film which documents how states of altered consciousness have led to greater states of functioning, often after a period of great turbulence. The film explores the question of how to create a culture that can help us to catalyze the gifts of such experiences despite fear and the tendency to pathologize them.
There will be time for discussion, resource sharing, and an opportunity to transcend through an immersive community kirtan led by The Love Tribe.
Light refreshments will be served.
All ages welcome.
