Job Summary: We are seeking to add a compassionate RYT & NYS clinician interested in beginning a specialized private practice that incorporates the philosophical tenets & therapeutic benefits of yoga to The Curious Spirit visionary team beginning Summer 2020.
The right candidate will work primarily from a humanistic framework and have a desire to be mentored in working with people to incorporate their unique skill set. This individual must have a familiarity with/curiosity to learn about the spiritual emergence process and be motivated to contribute to practice, research, and education in the fields of social work and psychology.
Job Requirements:
Must be a licensed NYS clinician, either a LMSW, MHC, or PsyD/PhD candidate with at least one year experience working in a clinical setting seeking to establish private practice and obtain supervised hours toward permanent clinical licensure.
Must be a registered yoga teacher with a 200+ hours, a regular practice, and teaching experience.
Ability and motivation to work independently and can provide two solid references attesting to your interpersonal and clinical skills.
Should have a strong interest in psycho spiritual process and theory and a desire to incorporate integrative/holistic techniques.
Should have an interest in or background in yoga and/or other somatic practices and/or energy psychology practices.
Should have a genuine interest in and motivation for creating a lucrative practice.
Work Hours/Location:
Generous Fee-for-service hours.
Flexibility to work anywhere New York State/NYC is preferred.
